You can reach us by email at info@delrock.com.tr or by phone on +90 507 536 21 09.
This page is our information notice under Article 10 of KVKK. It applies to visitors of this website and to customers, prospective customers and business contacts who get in touch with us.
2. What personal data we process
- Identity: your name.
- Contact: email address, phone number, company name and country.
- Request details: the machines, part numbers, quantities and delivery details you ask about, your messages, and any photos, parts lists or other documents you send or upload.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, date and time and the pages requested, recorded in server logs when you visit the website.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data (such as health data) and ask you not to send it.
3. How we collect it
Directly from you, electronically, when you email us, call us, message us on WhatsApp or use our contact form. The form sends your request, and any files you attach, through this website's server to our mailbox and emails you a confirmation. The website itself does not keep a copy.
Automatically, through the server logs described above, when you visit the website.
4. Why we process it and on what legal basis
- Answering your enquiries, confirming part compatibility and preparing quotes, which is necessary to establish a contract with you (KVKK Article 5(2)(c)).
- Delivering orders and providing after-sales and maintenance support, which is necessary to perform that contract (Article 5(2)(c)).
- Keeping commercial and accounting records, which we are legally required to do (Article 5(2)(ç)).
- Keeping the website secure and working which is our legitimate interest and does not override your rights (Article 5(2)(f)).
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, when needed (Article 5(2)(e)).
This website has no newsletter or marketing sign-up, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only as far as each purpose requires, with:
- service providers who run our email, website hosting and messaging for us;
- logistics, freight and customs partners, when delivering an order you placed;
- professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, who are bound by confidentiality;
- courts and public authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
6. Transfers outside Turkey
Some of the services involved are located, or store data, outside Turkey. WhatsApp conversations are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy terms, and our email and website hosting providers may store data abroad.
When personal data is transferred abroad, we do so under Article 9 of KVKK: on the basis of an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the standard contracts published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, or, where a message is sent through such a service at your choice to request information or a quote, as an incidental transfer necessary for handling that request.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and quote correspondence for as long as needed to answer and follow up your request. Correspondence and documents that form part of our commercial records are kept for the periods required by law, generally ten years under the Turkish Commercial Code. Server logs are kept only for a short period for security purposes.
When the retention period ends, we delete, destroy or anonymise the data.
9. Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed;
- request information about it if it is;
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose;
- know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred;
- ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected;
- ask for your data to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions in Article 7 of KVKK;
- ask for corrections, deletions or destruction to be notified to the third parties who received the data;
- object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis of your data;
- claim compensation if you suffer damage because your data was processed unlawfully.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the rights given by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
